Gomel Regional Center of Olympic Reserve in Athletics
The institution “Gomel Regional Center of Olympic Reserve in Athletics” was founded in 2007. Today, the Palace of Athletics (Institution “Gomel Regional Olympic Reserve Center for Athletics”) is a modern sports complex designed not only for training athletes, but also for holding competitions in various sports.
The priority event is athletics.
The updated sports complex includes:
- SPORTS ARENA with stands for spectators for 1360 seats, the arena covering is “Mondo”;
- 2 sectors for javelin throwing – for winter and summer;
- 6 straight treadmills 125 m long;
- 4 circular tracks of 200 m each;
- 2 sectors for pole vaulting;
- 2 sectors for high jumps;
- 2 sectors for long jump;
- shot put sector;
